Bridgette Nichols
Executive Director
Having spent her formative years in Pryor, Bridgette has a profound connection to the city and our community. With over two decades of experience in the nonprofit, education, and public administration sectors, Bridgette says, “I am eager to give back to the community that has played such a significant role in shaping who I am today.”
Bridgette’s experience with various organizations such as the Oklahoma Council for Economic Education and as a current class member of Northeast Oklahoma Regional Alliance (NORA) underscores her commitment to furthering economic growth and development in the region. She is actively engaged in initiatives aimed at bolstering economic opportunities for Northeast Oklahoma and its communities. This experience has equipped her with invaluable insights and connections that she will leverage in the role of Executive Director.
Bridgette’s ability to cultivate partnerships and build relationships with diverse stakeholders is a key strength that she will bring to Pryor Main Street. Whether collaborating with public school systems, nonprofit organizations, or tribal entities, she has a proven record of fostering connections to create innovative and sustainable programming that drives positive change.
Bridgette has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and holds certificates in both Energizing Economic Development for Community Leaders and Marketing Management. She was a member of the Pryor Area Chamber of Commerce from 2008-11, graduated from Mayes County Leadership Academy in 2009, and was a Rotary Club of Pryor member from 2009-11. Other professional and civic affiliations include RSU Staff Advisory Committee Board Member, Oklahoma Jump$tart Coalition Government Relations Chair and Education Committee Chair, Tulsa Regional Chamber,
Tulsa Rotary Club, Junior League of Oklahoma City Training & Development Committee, Alliance for Workplace Financial Education, Oklahoma GEAR UP Parent Leadership Academy, Council Member/Trustee for the City of Ramona and Governors Youth Council, Northeast Oklahoma Workforce Investment Board.
Phil Rerat

"Phil Rerat is the current President of the Pryor Main Street board. He has been on the board since 2020, and assumed the office at the beginning of 2022. A graduate of Oklahoma State University's Spears School of Business, he has been in the IT field for almost 20 years. Phil and his family moved to Pryor in 2016 after his wife, Cari, became the Director of the Pryor Public Library. They have two children in the Pryor school system.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies at the Allred 5 Theater in downtown Pryor, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and playing disc golf."
Jeremy Scheffel
2025 Secretary & Promotions Co-Chair
Jeremy Scheffel was born and raised in Pryor Oklahoma. He passionately strives to add value to the Pryor community through every area of his day to day. He is the owner of Scheffel Photography - a local business located in the heart of downtown that focuses on capturing the stories, memories, and history of Pryor Creek and the people that make it great.
In his free time, he loves to travel as much as possible with his wife and is slowly becoming a “dog dad” to their two fur babies Bear & Tedward.
Laynie Ogg
2025 Board Member & Design Chair
Laynie Ogg is the chair of the Design Committee for Pryor Main Street and owner of Robin's Nest Flowers. Being raised in Pryor, Laynie has a deep-rooted passion for community beautification and local business growth. Through her eye for design and thoughtful planning, she continues working to enhance downtown Pryor's charm and create a welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
Jennifer Brittain
2025 Board President & Economic Vitality Chair
Jennifer Brittain joined the Pryor Main Street board in 2023. She has been an employee benefits consultant with Brown & Brown in Pryor, OK since 2008. She works with employers of all sizes in the Pryor area helping them build benefit programs to attract and retain employees and grow their businesses. She also manages the employee benefits practice for all of Brown & Brown in Oklahoma.
Jennifer graduated from Evangel University with a degree in English Education. She has a passion for community service and is invested in Pryor’s economic growth and development. She brings business development and team management skills and experience to the board.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys quiet days on her farm with her husband, Houston, and her horse, Dalto.
Heather Cabales
2025 Treasurer & Organization Chair
Heather is a lifelong Okie and was raised in various towns/communities throughout this great state. She graduated high school in 2001 from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs and went on to attend Oklahoma State University after graduation. In 2004, she married Aaron and they settled in Pryor to live and raise a family. Heather and Aaron have 2 teenage boys, Ashton and Jayce, both of which attend Pryor Public Schools. Heather started her career in banking in 2007 and has worn several different hats in the banking industry, currently working as the Vice President of Bank of Commerce in Pryor. She has been involved in the Pryor Community in many different ways over the years but currently is a board member of both the Pryor Academic Excellence Foundation and Pryor Main Street. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending evenings and weekends at various sporting/band/church events. Chasing around 2 teenage boys is a busy job but brings a lifetime of good memories, laughter, and loads of dirty dishes!!
Samantha Williams
2025 Vice President & Promotions Co-Chair
Samantha Williams is a Pryor transplant. After being born and raised in Norman (Boomer!) she attended Southern Methodist University where she graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism.
Samantha, her husband, and their two boys run Game On which is a labor of love for the youth of Pryor. She also owns a travel agency, Limitless Travel. When not working, she loves spending time with her family and traveling.
Samantha sees and shares the vision of Pryor Main Street and wants nothing more than the growth and revitalization to help anchor in the young people of Pryor. She serves on the Pryor Main Street Board’s promotion committee as well as the City of Pryor’s Hotel/Motel Tax Allocation Board.
